2021년 USC Summer Occupational Therapy Immersion (SOTI) Program

USC (University of Southern California)에서 여름마다 운영하는 단기 작업치료 체험 프로그램을 소개합니다.


예년에는 LA에 가서 4주간 체험하는 프로그램으로 운영되었기에 많은 경비가 소요되어 참여가 어려웠지만, 올해는 코로나-19 상황으로 온라인으로 2주간 코스로 진행되어 보다 많은 학생들이 참여할 수 있게 되었습니다.

비록 온라인으로 진행되지만 미국에서도 최고의 작업치료교육 명문인 USC에서 진행되는 우수한 OT 교육프로그램과 다양한 지역사회 프로그램을 체험할 수 있는 흔치 않은 기회라고 생각됩니다.


프로그램 일시: 2021년 7월 1일~15일
신청마감: 2021년 4월 15일

참가비: $ 600 USD

프로그램 진행방식: Online experience


본 프로그램을 통해 학생들은

1. 강의와 (가상)임상기관 방문을 통해 미국 작업치료에 대해 이해한다.

2. USC에서 시작된 작업과학(occupational science)와 작업치료 분야의 최신 연구 성과를 소개 받는다.

3. LA지역에서 활동하고 있는 작업치료사와 네트워크를 형성하고 임상현장의 소리를 듣는다.

4. 작업치료, 건강과 웰니스 등에 대해 15국 이상의 참여자들과의 교제와 토론을 통해 국제적 견문을 넓힌다.

Dear friends at Inje University,


The University of Southern California (USC) Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy (USA) is very pleased to announce the 2021 USC Summer Occupational Therapy Immersion (SOTI)  program. 


SOTI is a two-week summer program designed for international occupational therapy (OT) students and practitioners who are interested in learning more about OT practice in the United States. 


In this program, students will:


  • Gain an empowered understanding of OT in the United States through lectures and (virtual) clinical site visits. 
  • Be introduced to occupational science and USC's cutting edge research by our renowned faculty. 
  • Network with Los Angeles-based OTs practicing in both traditional and emerging practice areas. 
  • Develop a global perspective of occupational therapy, health, and wellness by meeting peers from approximately 15 different countries.




The 2021 SOTI program will be held from July 1 - July 15, 2021. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, SOTI will be offered as an online experience in 2021 for a reduced tuition fee of $600 USD.
